The apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Fatima ended in 1917 and gave new breath and hope to the Church and to the whole World, both about to face atheism, totalitarianism and war. During the past consistory of the Cardinals on April 20th 2017, Pope Francis approved the canonizations of the two shepherds, Jacinta and Francisco, from Fatima.
